Hello,

I have a 77 cadillac deville and just recently replaced the manifold gasket in doing so i had to partially remove the compressor now the power steering pump is making noise it stops when i spray a little WD-40 on it but comes back in a day or two plus it stops when the car warms up a little after driving it. could anyone tell me if this noise sound familiar or if the power steering pump is going out.

Sounds more like the belt isn't tight enough or is glazed. Replace the belt and see if the noise goes away.
