: headlight switch replacement

has anyone replaced the headlight switch on their cat. the dealer wants $426 and the part is only $152 on gm parts.:hmm:

well alldata says that the part cost $297 which I can only assume that it's what the dealership charges. plus 0.3 hours to replace

buy it and replace yourself. as long as you know how to pry with your screwdriver then you're set...

Don't use a screw driver, you'll only damage the plastic trim.

Just use 2 kitchen knives. Slide one on each side of the switch assembly to compress the clips that hold it in, then just pull it out by the knob.

It will take 2-min max.
