First off Ill let yall know I need some new white walls for the 70 Deville, looks just like this one ->
http://www.vfrclc.org/images/06_Lahaska (68).JPG

except the top is white, now this site ->
http://100megsfree4.com/cadillac//cad1970/cad70d.htm

says the tire size is L-78x15, coker has them here ->
http://store.coker.com/search.php?mode=search&by_title=Y&by_shortdescr=Y&by_fulldescr=Y&substring=L78-15&__utma=1.1870349037.1202477955.1204304222.1204312024.6&__utmb=1.1&__utmc=1.1&__utmx=-&__utmz=1.1202477955.1.1.utmcsr=(direct)|utmccn=(direct)|utmcmd=(none)&__utmv=-&__utmk=240433155

for cheap, but I NEED to know how the 4" white wall would look compared to the 3" one and I can't find any thing, even the pics on Coker are the same between the 3" and 4"

Geez, ya take one night off..... lol

Originally, your car had TWO whitewalls per tire. Something like a vogue, but all white. Here's a pic.

Now, I think what looks most correct is a 1.3" whitewall. 0.75 is the standard size like you'd find on the last 15" touring/all weather tire at wal*mart. But it looks much too thin on these cars. 1.3 is just enough, plus it's closer to the overall size on the original twin whitewalls. I think the car in the first pic looks just right.
