in regards to your help with an hei swap, how would one plug the heads after removing the tube? dimes? how does that work, how do they stay in. are the holes threaded? also when swapping pulleys, isnt the alternator not lined up when you put 425 pulleys in? and the P/S pump, can you just swap the pulley or do you have to do the whole pump?

To plug the holes , dimes will work if the hole is not oversize... try tapping the dimes with a hammer and punch to seat them in the heads...it should be a tight fit..
the alt. will be in the correct spot ... If you have a 2 belt pulley on the power steering pump, you may have to change the pump.. the early pumps have a key and a nut holding it on... the later ones are pressed on... if yours has one belt it is ok the way it is...
