When using the ipod integration in my CTS, after navigating menus with the multifunction menu/knob controller, there appears to be no way to go back one level to the previous location without using the touchscreen back button. I would prefer to use the menu/knob (or other hard button).

The example would be selecting AUX (or ipod) with the audio button, then using the MENU to choose album, artist, whatever. At the point you are in a particular album/artist, you cannot go back and choose a different album/artist without reaching over to the touchscreen.

Is there a way to do this with buttons, NOT the touchscreen?

Not that I have found, I would also like to ask everyone if they have a way using any control to go back to the artist list at the same position were it is currently playing from so that you can move an artist or two up or down.

My listing has over 300 artists and it takes along time to knob or touch from the top or bottom of the list.:annoyed:

Yeah the Ipod function was poorly designed.
