i am getting ready ti install an alpine head unit in my 97 sts w/ bose system. i know that i need the gmrc03 but i have been reading about people having issues with these things. i am also installing all new highs an mids a 4 ch amp, 2 12 inch jlw6's and a mono amp. i know i have to run all new wires and an wire for the connstant to the deck. has anyone had these issues or know anything about them???? please help....

you pretty much explained what you needed to do so whats the ?

did you have problems with your gmrc03 when u installed it??? whats this stuff about leaving the factory deck hooked up and relocating it??? i am just confused now.

eldos and sevilles dont need the stock deck in, its something with devilles that they need it
