Just a quick note to thank so many of you that have helped me make my decision to order my new CTS. I currently have a 2003 CTS and I love it. Your experiences and opinions made a big decision easier to make. I will continue to visit this forum often, and I hope to be able to contribute if I can.

Congratulations on your new CTS! What engine, color, options, etc.?

I'm new to the forum, too, and will be buying my first Cadillac later this year--so, this forum is invaluable. It's fun to read through the threads (even the rude ones...lol). By the time I get mine I will be so thoroughly knowledgable beyond believe about this car.

I kid you not, I dream about being in this car...driving this car...experiencing this car. Call me nuts and I won't argue with you. :cookoo:

Welcome to both of you. I'm on my second CTS (04 and 08). If you love your 03, there is no comparison to the 08, regardless of equipment. Go for it and congrats!

the CTS 08 has its strengths and weaknesses but overall, the strengths outweighs the weaknesses. this is a special and good looking car!

I'm also a former '03 CTS owner who loved the car--and I like the '08 even better! It's that great!:welcome:

I just joined here over the past week.

I'm still deciding whether to get into my first CTS
or not. I love the car, but am very perplexed by
the seemingly exorbitant lease rates.

Even if I end up not getting a CTS, I have already
gotten my money's worth on this forum. Never on
a car forum have I met such great people willing to
help out each other as I have seen here.

Best Wishes!

If you think the lease rates are too high - why not get into a purchase on the car? :bouncy:

Spaceman - say what? You're not happy with your 08 CTS - or am I misunderstanding you?

Ordered Crystal Red w/Cashmere interior. D.I Engine w/manual trans. Performance Luxury Package, Sun/moon roof, wood trim B19 & B20, Summer Tire Package (required w/manual trans) 18" polished wheels P63, FE3 Suspension. By the way, the Performance Luxury Package was mentioned here on the forum. As of last week it was not on the GM build your vehicle web site. Another reason I appreciate the guys here so much. I got more information here than I ever could have received from a dealer. That Performance Luxury Package includes Y40, 41,43 & 44. This is a great deal compared to getting them individually.

My wife already thinks I have a disorder. If I slept in it she might have me committed.

Sounds like a beaut (or is it a brute?)...LOL!

I know you must be excited. Can't wait to order mine and so glad for this forum. Now I won't be going in blind. I've learned so much in such a short time. Guys on here are great.
