Could someone tell me how to monitor MAP/MAF/TPS/IAC readings on the DIC on a 99 SLS? I'm trying to troubleshoot a decel stall problem. Thanks

You can't display those values on '98 and later Sevilles. You would need an OBDII interface box and a laptop to display any real-time engine parameters.

Have you tried displaying "P" trouble codes to give you some direction?

Might be a dirty throttle body and or idle air bypass valve.

Could also be a failed or failing crankshaft position sensor.

Thanks for the quick reply; I have a P1599(stall/near stall) and have cleaned TB and IAC passages, tried new IAC. CPK is a possible.

CPK while not as common on the pre 00s is still a possibility
sounds just like the issue thats common on the 00+

does it fire right back up after the stall?

Answer: Most of the time it's a near stall; rpm will drop from about 900 to about 400 and them recover to about 1000. While the problem is intermittent, when it happens this 900 to 400 cycle could happen 5 or 6 times in half a minute. The times it has totally stalled, it does crank right back up, but my sense it that it might crank for about a second or two longer than normal before it starts.
