i've had a whistling sound coming from my moonroof for a while now and the other day i happened to notice something.. the bar on the inside of my moonroof isn't flush against the moonroof. it seems as if the back of the bar is angled.. is this normal with everyone elses?

Nope. Just went out to the Garage and checked. Mine is flush against the glass both front and rear. And i have no wind noise on mine (up to about 90MPH)

No noise here as well. Love it. And all those people complaining about the cloth shade are crazy. The ultraview is awesome.

I agree about the cloth shade's "look". Now as to it's effectiveness............ see me May thru October. It gets warm down here with a very bright sun.

ok so maybe that's the reason why mine is making noise
maybe ill run up to the deal to check the rest of them out

i just went to the dealer to check out the other cars
and none of them seem to be completely flush

I have the same problem and have temporarily fixed it. My rubber does not make a seal to the window in the center of the bar..I took it to the dealer twice and they adjusted the glass panels to try to make it fit but it never fully went away. So I popped out the rubber seal and reinstalled it but I only inserted back into the channel about 50% which allowed the rubber to be about a 1/4 inch taller and now makes contact to the window. I will show this to the dealer on my next trip.

Several people here have had the problem and the dealer had to adjust the sun roof to stop the noise.

Everything on my moonroof is flush and I don't hear any noise from it. Also, I love both the moonroof and the shade.
