Is there a preexisting hole ( for added wires) in the driverside firewall, or do I have to drill one?

Yes, I need a place to run the wires for "The Blinder" laser jamming system. Thanks for any help anyone can provide.

Yes the Blinder works extremely well in jamming laser. Its also relatively easy to insatall providing there is a hole in the firewall to get the wires from the emitters in the grill to the controller in the dash.

I could not take the chance of cutting a hole in the firewall as it looked as if there was no place that was free on both sides. The existing hole(s) were too tight to try to run my Escort Passport SRX radar dector cables into the cabin, so I ran them through the left side behind the windshield wiper pump over the wheel well using a metal hanger as a feeder. I then ran the down the door opening and tapped into the rubber graumet/tubing that contains the door to cabin wires. I made a small x hole with an Exacto blade in the gasket towards the rear bottom to prevent any water from getting in when I rean the wires. The x cut I made is super tight anyway so even if it was up, I dont think water would have gotten in. I then tied off the cables with 4 black ties pushed the cables far into the quarter panel and the door jam. It works great with no wires showing except for about 2 inches of wire going into the graumet/tubing. It does not get in the way of the door opening or closing at all.
