I am wondering about playing MP3 on my factory stereo on my 05 Escalade. I have heard that the radio can be flash with updates, but I am not sure if that can be used to make the stereo MP3 playable. Have you all heard of this? I like to keep the head unit when possible. Thanks in advance.

any idea which replacement brand will also retain the info readout like temp, tire pressure, mpg, etc.?

I have an 06 SRX with single CD player. I wuld also like to upgrade the amp and speakers.
