well less you wanna travel to Pittsburgh PA looks like ill have to dictate another install lol

now how involved and how much you looking to spend

if you replace your HU youll need to replace all the bose, run new wires to the speakers, and get a gmrc-03 by metra to plug into the stock plug and give you the red ignition wire and black ground

the yellow constant you must run from the car battery

i am looking to do a full install. i have a valor deck, infinity 4 channel amp for highs, 6.5 infinity components for front, 6x9 for rwear, and jl w6 subs w/ 500/1 amp. so i just plug in thegmrc03 and use its wires for the deck, run my own const? i really just need help w/ the deck install, as far as thje amp go i know i will need to run rca's and all that good stuff along with wires to all my speakers. so do i just need this gmrc03 and a dash kit? if ya could just give me a run down on what i need and a generall install desc.

humm where to start
your gonna have to make a custom plate to mount those 6.5s in the doors
the stock bose has a 4 inch speak

i got a non bose eldos front speaker brackets to add 5.25s to mine

youll need
gmrc-03 (this will keep the cars numerous data class II systems happy and allow diagnostics to still operate in event of a cel light)
metra eldo seville dash kit
12 gauge wire for the constant
14-16 gauge for the speakers
multi channel amp kit

Hey guys, same car, same problems.

I was talking to the727kid on car audio forum and he said he didn't use the gmrc-03 and everything worked fine. I assume you just loose steering wheel controls if you don't have it?

I was talking to the727kid and he said he didn't use the gmrc-03, so how is that possible?

he had a shop do the install and tapped into other wires for the acc
he also had some issues with battery draining and a dead alt which i attributed to that and have walked him through repairing them
