I have a 99 deville concours. In the winter here when the roads have ice on them and uneven pack snow the rear of the car feels like it's going from side to side alot, like it shifts over. Noticed it in the summer when I hit a man hole cover too. My sisters new solara does it some what. She has independent rear suspension also. It's not as bad when the gas tank is full. Just wondering if it's the nature of these car or there's worn out parts.

Been there, done that. Get a 4 wheel alignment.

:helpless:Well...same thing here...it is the upper and lower rear "knuckle" bushing that are junk. Each side is $450ea side pass/driver and I'm trying to find a way around that myself. Used ones are no good unless they have about 50k on them...tried already.
