Buy new springs. Intrax I think is the only company selling them still a 94 Eldorado still. Summit racing is selling them, will lower the car 2".

I thought the Sprints spring are long as well?

The ELC (Electronic Level Control) is only for the rear wheels. So as stated in the above posts, you would need new springs.

Not so: We used to lower all sorts of vehicles, from '32 Chevy coupes to '49 Mercs to various mid-60's coupes and sedans. You just didn't drive all the places you used to, and then you were limited to how many passengers you carried. The Seville/Eldorado already has precious little ground clearance under the front engine/suspension area as is. A 2" drop would be certain to open a can of worms. How often do you scrape the front bumper cover skirt on a parking block now?

Well I never scraped yet, every car I have owned has been lowered. I understand people here want to keep their cars as origanal as possible but some people like to own something a little different. I have allways liked the styling on Sevilles but like all american designed cars, they have a stance like a 4x4.

GM produces the most boring out of date cars now. And yes they all have a stance like a 4X4. Take any German or Japanese car and look at thier stance, none of them have that huge gap between the tire and fender. If you want to talk about Quality in GM cars being built, Maybe you Americans should take some lessons on how to build them from Canadians!!!! Since the Oshawa plant in ONTARIO, CANADA was rated NUMBER 1 in north america for quality. I guess it pretty sad when the new 2009 or 10 Camaro will be built here in Canada. Looks like GM wants the car to be built properly. All I'm going to say is get your head out of your ass if u think only americans can build cars.

The only reason GM have factories there is because you guys work for cheaper pay. Don't get me wrong I love Canada. I've been going to Canada for 14 years fishing LacSeul and the people are great. But other than lumber, fishing and tourism there is not much industry. You should be happy that GM builds cars there and quit knocking them.

There are some great Canadian vehicles; Maple Leaf, Monitor, Mayflower, Fargo pickups, Mercury pickups, Nodwell, Bowser. Most of the Canadian vehicle we see are jacked up.

If somebody would read my post, I love the styling of the seville I just dont like the stance on the car, so i lowered it. GM keeps the factories open because quailty of car we produce. The Canadian dollar is par with the American dollar, if you dont watch the market so its not so cheap to build a car here. If GM wanted cheap they would go to Mexico and have them built. I dont have to knock GM, they do it themselves. Just look at the resale values a 3 year old Cadillac, they lose over 70% of thier value. Its great for the used car buyer but thats it. I'm already searching for another car and it wont be a GM. Either a 545 BMW or an Eclass MB. I'll pay a little more for the car but the Quailty is there.
