Previous post: Cold air out the driver's side footwell, hot air on the passenger's side.
I was POSITIVE I had something wrong with a blend door or some other obstruction. I was certain the heater core was ok since, after all, I was getting hot air on the passenger's side. How in blazes does air "divide" itself into hot and cold after going tru the core?????
So, I spent a couple hours in various yoga positions disassembling my dash and winding my a-- and scratching my watch with nothing obvious to me.
Then, "Ranger" said, "flush the heater core because if partially plugged, air can stratify and cause this problem".
OK, so he's crazy.........
NOT!!!! I flushed the heater core this morning and GUESS WHAT? Ranger was right!!!! I've got +140 degree air out both sides!!!!
Ranger, thanks!
