98 deville is giving me some front end noise on the passenger side. only seems to do it on left turns. it's kind of a grinding/sometimes rattling noise. does it at low speeds dont seem to notice it much at higher speeds. does it it neutral too. I have searched the archives and the problems that are similar seem to point at the wheel bearings on that side. The noise doesnt happen all the time just when i turn to the left. Wife said she could feel a vibration through the floor board on the passenger side. does this sound like a bearing to everyone else?....seems to me it would do the noise all the time if it was the bearing. thanks for the input.
A bad bearing will usually growl and the sound will come and go as you load and unload the bearing by swinging the wheel left and right. Sounds more like a CV joint.

I am getting a growling sound when i have it in park and turn the wheel side to side. and the sound that im getting when i make a left turn sounds like something rubbing/grinding against the rotor intermittently. I believe my pads are fine. anyway i think im gonna take it in to a mechanic so a trained ear can listen to it.
If you get the sound at a stand still, it is not the CV joint or bearing.

:wtf2: Power steering rack?...well anyway im planning to take it in to a mechanic. but like i said the noise is very noticeable when taking a left turn at slow speeds like less then 25MPH sounds like something rubbing. as for when i have it parked and turn the wheel side to side it's a moan. could be the normal sound of the power steering working but lately i've been tuning my ear to every little sound i dont really know at this point.
