issue is the ABS/ and TCS lights and the "service Ride Control" would the service ride control be on due to the ABS not working? or is that a whole different system? what should i look at first could the codes help me pinpoint this?

The DTC's can definitely help pinpoint the problem. That is what they are for. Always start diagnosis by pulling them.

i cleared all the codes and drove around a bit and this is what i got

PCM- p1602: knock sensor (modual performance)

PCM- p1644: traction control delivered torque output circuit (could this be my Tcs prob?)

IPC- u1255: class 2 com malfunction (serial data line malfunction)..help

RSS- c1783: iccs2 DL left output short circuit to GND

RSS- c1785: iccs2 DL right output short circuit to GND

any help as to where i should look to fix these codes would be great thanks :yup:

P1602 on your car is not a knock sensor, it is loss of EBTCM serial Data, and it comes on when your car does not communicate for over 11 seconds. The 1644 code is right, and its diagnostic routine looks very expensive. The RSS is a different system, check your connectors for the struts either front or back

what site do you use to tell you what the codes are? i used one that was linked in a sticky in the tech section but i may have the wrong section, so the 1664 could there be something loose? where should i start to look?

You need to address the P1602 code first as it directly relates to the ABS and TCM, its telling you that there is a breakdown in communication between computers on your car, in order for you to fix this, I would recommend that you take it to someone who has a TECH2 or Genisys Scan tool as they will be able to tell you what is going on. These two codes are going to be expensive and unless you have access to a 'proper' scan tool you will be in the dark, I would suggest for starters that you check the EBTCM unit on the lower frame rail on the Drivers side and check its connections, you may get lucky and it may have come apart. Hope you get yourself fixed up

thank you :halo: i will take a look at that, i was able to get onto the all-data site and look up some of the codes and what it all came down to was that scanner to find out whats going on, any clues how much it would run to have the local caddy dealer hook it up and tell me what is going on? and yes i will take a look for some loose wires i hope thats my issue :)
