Just want to say sorry for starting another thread on this topic, I have read endlessly but still am unsure what to do.
In my first thread I learned that there is no way to install a new head unit in my 97 unless I rewire the car, which I am not ready to do at this time.
However I am still unsatisfied with my audio setup. I would like to have some more bass, but unsure how the easiest way to add some subs to my current Bose system.
Also, I read that you can put a in dash CD player if its Bose anywhere from 98-01? Which models work? And how do I know the Cadillac dealer will unlock it for me?
If I choose to rewire my car, I honestly only want two highs (1 in each front door) with a highs amp and a pioneer head unit. Is this an all day job with the Cadillac to rewire the two front doors? If I rewire do I need the GMOS-06?
Are there any other options I may be looking over here? Thanks!!
