Hi:

While driving across a 6 mile bridge on an interstate highway at 70 mph my engine begins to hesitate and then sputter a little (like it has water in the gas tank or something) and within seconds, the engine dies. I had to roll to the side of the bridge. Luckily I received help immediately. I think the gentleman that helped me poured a little gasoline on something under the hood and the Cadi immediately started. I drove without incident to a gas station. HOWEVER, the car had at least 5 gallons of gasoline. I've driven the Cadi all day today without trouble. I got a diagnostic trouble number of P131. Love my car. HELP! Actually, boyfriend needs help!!!

P0131 - Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Circuit Low Voltage Bank 1 Sensor 1

That should not cause the engine to die. Perhaps the fuel pump is on it's last legs and getting intermittent.
