Sometimes if I accelerate WOT, I see a little bit of white smoke behind me. It only smokes for a second, not the whole time of acceleration. No antifreeze loss and no water in oil/vise versa. Does anyone have this problem or know what I could do to fix it? Car is a 98 deville with 155xxx miles. I have not given it the "pills" yet.

Can't tell you how to fix it if we don't know what it is (smoke, steam or fuel vapor). Do it again and as soon as you see the "smoke" pull over. Wipe the inside of the exhaust pipe with your finger and smell it. See if you can determine what it is.

That mileage, only happening at WOT, I would guess its a little oil burn. Its no biggie, since it seems its only a little. As I have said before, on high mileage/older cars make sure you check your oil levels frequently (once a week). Don't rely on the light in the car. If that turns on, 90% of the time its too late and you are SOL before you even know what hit you.
