The Problem that I have today is my deville won't start. I was on the road last night and stop and a 7-11 to get some coffee and I came back out of the store and my car would not start. I am not talking about just could not turn over. It would do anything. No Lights, seats, windows, It was like someone had stole my battery. So then I went under the hood and checked the inadvert power relay to make sure that it was plugged in and it was. So I then went and unhooked the battery for 5 minutes and hooked it back up and it started right up. My keyless entry remote needed reprogramming after that. I had no electrical problems before that. I woke up this morning and the battery was completely dead. Has anyone had this happen to them? Give me some help. THanks!!!

Assuming that the cables are clean and tight, replace the battery.

Hey Ranger do you think that that battery could have a broken eliment inside of it that works some times and if it shifts from time to time it won't work.

Hard to say. Check the connections and make sure that the cable is not loose. One year had a bolt that was too long, thus the cable connection could be intermittent. The fix was a spacer or couple of washers, but I would suspect the battery going bad. How old is it?

Battery is about 8 months old. It is a AC Delco battery. I went to the junk yard today and snatched all of the relays that I could get my hands on. Found a brand new EGR Valve too(been looking for one of those for a long time.) I switched out the relays today. I'll find out in the morning if the battery stays up or if it dies over night. Do you know if there are any relays in the trunk on the back of the seat. I haven't checked yet. Thanks for the help!!!

Fixed it. The rubber on the end of the negative battery cable had got in between the terminal and the battery cable end. I cut the rubber off and screwed it back on and started it perfect. Even my check engine light did not come back on about code p0441. Thanks for the help. I am just glad it is not an expensive fix. I got about a grand in it now ( with all of the parts from the junk yard).
