Can anyone help me out with a Carfax? My parents totalled they Caddy last week and it was not worth what they would have hoped. Because their price range is pretty low, I am having to stray from the franchised dealers and try an independant dealer.

I am a little concerned about that so I was hoping someone could help a forum member out. If you can, it will be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time in advance.

A dealer can run that VIN for you at no cost. A CARFAX member stands a chance of losing his subscription for acting in behalf of a second party. You could also take the data of the vehicle in question and run it through www.kbb.com to determine the approximate Private, Retail, and Trade-in values.

Thanks for the info Sub. I really hadn't thought if that. I did not think a small dealer would provide one but he did. It came back clean and the car is in beautifuf shape. I think it is a nicer car than what was totalled. Thank you for the time and have a good night everyone.
