: Towing a 28' 7000lb holiday trailer

I have read all about trailer hauling on this forum, but no one talks about a trailer that weighs close to the tow limit of an '07 EXT. The dry weight of the trailer that I am looking at is 6100lb, so loaded it will be around 7100-7200lbs. On paper the EXT should have no problem, but I will be right at the limit. I could get a smaller, lighter trailer, but Escalade owners want the best - right!
Do you'all think that I will have any issues (besides bad MPG)?

Read your first post on this, I said I puller a 26 ft trailer, loaded it's over 7k lbs, pulled it with a Suburban, and 03' Escalade and both of my 07's, besides getting low single digit fuel mileage pulling this thru the mountains in the snow, it tows very well, but that depends on where you live and tow, the montains are a pain.
