i recently purchased a 2000 seville with 86000 miles on it and low and behold on the way home from the dealer the ses light came on as i was driving home.from what i am reading by searching this forum it is not really hurting anything besides gas mileage. so i dont have to run to the nearest shop to get the tranny rebuilt. and it seems as if general consensus is to just let it alone, right? thanks in advance for all of the input people...

Since it happened on the way home, I'd go right back. Maybe they will fix it. Nothing to loose.
