Hello all,
hthorn here, proud owner of an '88 DeVille. The 4.5 with TBI, for me, is the year they got it right. Those cars were so far ahead of their time, they still hold up today. I love it when people say, "Don't you want a more economical car?" because the truth is, Cadillacs are the most economical "big" cars you can buy...20-25 MPG from a two-ton plus curb weight car? You betcha! That which deserves to live--lives.

OK, you asked for it. My 4th C-body in the last 10 years; 5th if you count a Pontiac Bonneville...:bonkers: If it ain't broke don't fix it. Well, it ain't broke yet, anyway...:hmm:

my exwife and I had a 2dr version of a car like that...I loved that car. The front seat was so big I could go down on her while she drove. I REALLY loved that car...

Yeah, that reminds me, it could use new seats; I guess a trip to the 'yards is in order...seat covers on a Cadillac just don't git it...
...You haven't seen the movie CRASH, have you? I'm pretty sure I won't be winning many big-time awards, if you get my drift...

some people put roof spoilers on a cadillac...might as well put seat covers on one.

I never understood Continental kits either...If you wanted a Ford, why didn't you just buy one?...
