Silver 2004 BMW 325 convertible (automatic, non-SMG) with 60k. Yay or nay?

German cars are fun.......as long as you've got a big bankroll behind them.

Definite + over your Navigator though.

You really can't go wrong with any 3 series. I'd want to keep looking around for a manual one though.

2nd most corrupt state in the Union (after Louisianna).

On the car, I say nay. If you're gonna go for a convertible sporty car, go for a stickshift; get the full experience. Slushbox is just no fun at all.

The E46 2.5L (M54) could indeed take advantage of a GOOD manual gearbox to make full use of the power it has, however the manual trans available in these E46's has never been known to be very good, while the automatic, made by ZF or GM consequentially, is one of the finest autos on the planet.

The SMG is really only good on the M3, Im not sure why it was extended down the range to the others at all.
