I have a 1986 cadillac deville sedan and when I received it somethin was stuck in the key hole. Its nothing sticking out but I can't stick the key in . Or could the mechinism be off . Help

what key hole. If it is filling the whole thing try barly putting in a screwdriver and twist it. I had my ignition key break in a truck and just used a screwdriver like it was the nub on the key.
