I'm looking to replace the complete set of factory speakers with aftermarkets. I don't know the speaker layout but to my knowledge there are two 6x9 in the trunk near the factory amp. Two 5.25 in each front door panel, and the tweeters of course? Is this correct? If not it seems like it is Four 5.25 one in each door panel a tweeter in each door panel and the two 6x9's in the trunk?
I just need some clarification on which is true and which is not. I get a better price through a guy I've been affiliated with for 3-4 years now on the speakers and just paying someone to instal will be the difference.
Thank you for any valuable information you can throw my way!!! I appreciate it!

I'll check into those then, I've heard infinity's name for the longest time. I've never played with them.
I've messed with Memphis,JL, & sony's somewhat garbage market. I heard rockford subs hit harder than tsunami's. I was planning on sticking with one make through out the whole car. Thanks for all the help though, I know who to yell out to now when in need of assistance.

fosgate old skool and team fosgate i will back fully
their new crap is just that crap
if you want fosgate and wanna save some $ go to walmart and buy lightning audio, they are owned by fosgate
JL obviously is good but very high priced
Infinity is best bang for your buck imho

Hey, I went with the 4x5.25 Infinity Kappa Coax & a pair of 6x9 kappa's on a reference 475a Amp...It's pumping some decent wattage through a Boss BV9450 HU. I got a set of shielded monster RCA cables...But suprisingly enough even with RCA cancellers from PAC I'm still getting a little noise on the line...It's very mild and low but I'm probably the biggest sound junkie you'll ever meet. Is there anything in addition to the Cancellers for the RCA's I can take to kill the noise coming from under the dash? I ran the power down the left and rca/remote on down the right. I re ran 16 guage wire instead of using the factory wiring and The 4 mids are sharing 2 channels and the 6x9s are on the individuals. Anymore idea's to completely kill the noise?

on my 1995 DeVille I replaced my front door speakers with Kenwood KFC-1361S speakers ordered from Crutchfield and I am very happy with my purchase. They cost $50 per pair and this included the wiring adapter so the existing wiringworked without modification.
