: Wasteful, Excessive, Disgusting... And I Love It.

Big SUVs usually tend to be a pet peeve of mine largely because most just aren't necessary. So one would think I'd be immediately horrified by this custom-built "XUV" by Alton Manufacturing:

This 26,000 pound behemoth, based off the Ford F-650, is powered by a 7.2L Caterpillar C7 ACERT straight-six, four-stroke diesel producing 230HP and 660lb-ft of torque. Standard amenities include custom captain chairs, hardwood floors, a 42" plasma TV, and four wireless computer workstations.

All of this can be yours for the low, low price of... wait for it... near as makes no difference - $200,000.

Needless to say, the entire premise of this thing is so vulgar that I absolutely adore it....

Worse yet - it's technically a Ford.

F150 Headlights, F650 Cab, and Excursion rear end. This is so wrong, and so right.

My sentiments exactly...

I'm so offended by this thing that I'd love to have one.

haha, I guess I can't complain about excessive and wasteful, having a big block old-school Mopar in the garage. =)

You're not shit unless your car has hardwood floors in it.

My old Chevy pickup had an oak floor in the bed.

It'd be better if it was an old GMC Brigadier powered by the Detroit 6V-92.

Detroit two strokes are :cool2:

Yea, I had a '68 GMC with a hardwood bed. Built it myself, too.

Turbo/Supercharged 8v92ta and 3,000 gallons of water in case you get thristy , or need to make the road slick for the driver ahead ....oh and central tire infation , 8 wheel independent wishbone suspension 8 wheel drive ,6 speed auto

i drove one of these last weekend , sure your SUV might have tiny tv screens int he headrests , but i had a 20 inch tv in the dash , and the kitchen sink , and if i wanted to take a massive shit at 70mph i could...all things that XUV (GMC Produced a Envoy XUV for a couple years) cant do
