I filled up the Eldorado on Wednesday and paid $2.056 per gallon. As I was pumping the gas the guy was changing the sign to $2.089. Today is Saturday and just saw the price now posted at $2.289. These prices are for Premium of course and I'm located 20 miles East of Albany New York. How are you guys doing out there ? Be interesting to see who's getting screwed the most.

I just payed 2.00 a gallon for regular today and almost had a coronary. Barely filled half the tank.

I think it's $2.16 a gallon for regular over here. Atleast it was a few days ago. Last week it was $2.09... I heard it's supposed to reach it's highest during June, though.. So maybe this wont last for too much longer..

a few months ago i was getting by cheap according to most of u. BUT now i'm getting cornholed for $2.18/gallon for premium of course. which is only 91 octane here.(north dakota)

Who's getting screwed? That's easy! For Premium, I have to pay 2.78 per gallon U.S. (after conversions and exchange of currency) Interesting thing on the news today about how gas station attendents are being threatened, made to pick up the money thrown at the pumps, and yelled at. People are angry, but getting mad at the poor kid just doing his job at the pumps is not the appropriate thing to do IMO. There are supposedly a record number of people "taking off" without paying!

These prices are supposed to last through the summer! Maybe I should have bought that Civic!! :p

In most places in the US ralph thats what they have. In Indiana we have 87-89-92/93/94 (depends on the station, I have seen all 3 in my town).....

In South Florida, I pay 2.28 the other day for premium and it rises every day too. According to the fuel moniter im getting 14.5 mpg, and it is steadily rising up as I havent drivin the car at all until recently.

The AAA Visa card is looking really good now, as it returns 6% of all gas ups. Not much but itll add up.

Maybe I should just fill up the tires on the bike......it sucks being 16 and nobody wants to hire you.

Between $2.07-$2.19 for regular around here. However, I always fill up in Jersey, $1.87 for regular. I STILL would rather drive my car, but that makes the 4-cyl truck not look quite as bad.....

I keep hearing our guys in the government say " somethings got to be done about the price of gas" but I've never heard any of them say let's temporarily cut the tax on gas. Not sure but I think the Fed's getting at least fifty cents on every gallon. Isn't that supposed to be used, at least partially, for road upkeep? I-90 around Albany is like pothole city and it has a 65 mph limit. Trying to dodge the potholes is getting to be a real challenge. The State also gets a good chunk. Wonder where all that money goes ! Oh well----could be worse. I could live in Canada or worse yet Europe. The best part about being an American is we can bitch a lot.....

Most of you guys have it pretty cheap compared to California, specifically the SF Bay Area, I've seen stations around here that have been around $2.50 for regular. I've been looking online to see who has the record high gas prices in California and its $3.05 for regular in Bridgeport. These prices are way too expensive.

2.04 for regular today. Cost me 50 bucks, not even filling the tank.

Calgary must be the cheapest in the country right now at 65 cents per litre. We just had another jump to 95.9 a litre, so my premium will be over a dollar now! A new record.

Were at $2.35 for premium now, in less then 2 days it goes up 7c, and I usually use chevron which charges a little more to begin with.

Here in Alberta where we have enough natural gas and oil to supply the whole f&#^ continent - with approx conversion yesterday was 2.51 a US gallon. Long weekend for Cdn comming - prices will go up. Good news is "they" figure it will only last all summer :banghead: . ALberta (Canada in general I think) is famous for a 10 cent increse per liter (1 Gallons (US) = 3.78541 Liters ) on a Friday , then after public out cry decrease it 6 cents and we all think we are now getting a deal :rolleyes2

Made a trip to Houston Wednesday. Saw premium as high as $2.11 and diesel as low as $1.59 BTW, on the 292 mile round trip, my Deville averaged 22.3 MPG. We had to go to downtown Houston and got caught in some of the ol' bumper to bumper traffic for awhile.

I guess I shouldn't complain because the Z3 gets 29mpg, the Volvo is running at about 28.5mpg, and my little Prelude is doing 25.5mpg under mostly "city" type driving conditions. The wife drives 95% interstate highway miles, a 75-mile round-trip every day.

But it spiked up to $2.129 this week and I had to fill up two cars. The Prelude will be due by Wednesday or Thursday.

I used to give myself a $40 weekly allowance to cover the cost of gas and cigarettes etc. Now I allow myself $100 a week and I quit smoking. I must be doing something wrong because Bush keeps saying we are better off since he got in the White House. Don't know about you but I believe everything Bush says. Well--back to the gas thing----My Eldorado gets about 24 mpg around town (not city) which I am happy with. Costs me $45 to fill the tank though. My wife's Volvo gets about the same. Used to have a 3rd car, a Ford Escort that got 38 mpg. Decided to get rid of that one about a year ago. What's wrong with this picture?

If all things go as planned, my wife and I are going to El Paso, TX to visit our nephew for a week. Most of it will be on I-20 and I-10. I'll be sure to keep a log on the mileage so I can see what it does in the Interstate. Oh yeah, this will be about a 900 mile trip 1 way so I should get some good numbers. Maybe gas will go down a little by then.

Dropped a $50 in the tank of the 78 Today. I haven't had the carb working this well for awhile, so we'll see what kind of MPG I end up getting. It used to be about 6, I hope those days are over.

$1.89 today for regular. Drove by the cheap station today, their 84.5 octane gas was $1.81. My dad has an old Kawasackey 750, maybe I can convince him to let me have it..

I hear a lot of pissing and moaning in the news about gas going up 14 cents in 14 days. But here in St Louis it dropped 20 cents in 3 days. $2.29 for premium suddenly went to $2.09. And it dropped some MORE last night!

I heard that the U.S. is going to eliminate mid-grade fuel to keep the overall costs down. Is this true, or just a rumour? Supposedly, there are too many people, R&D involved in the production, so if they eliminate mid-grade it will greatly reduce costs. If true, you'll have to decide between 87 or 91/92 octane.

there are really close to 300 different blends of fuel here coast to coast

a station next to my work and I wont tell you it is a citgo. is up to 2.339 for premium. needless to say I go to NJ for gas which is only across the bridge and today I payed 2.159 for premium. 25bucks for half tank of gas. then my g/f wonders why I dont want to drive all the time.

I'm not the only one! It STILL pays to fill up over in Jersey, even taking the toll into account.......
