I have to wonder if it's one of the DYNAFLOW transmission equipped Cadillacs of 1953, so built when the Livonia Hydra-Matic Plant burned down and GM got desperate for a year.
That would make it REALLY rare.

Yeah, like Old_fleetwood said, the factory burned down they had to use Buick trannys until they got production going again, so a small bath of Caddies in '53 got Buick trannies.
