I'm a newbie, so pardon my lack of knowledge on the CTS.

I recently purcahsed an '03 CTS (used). It looks to be the premium package with full Navigation, Bose stereo, and OnStar (subscription expired).

My Wipers do not work. I know that they did when I bought the car, but now they do not do anything. I can't even get the washer to spray out the nozzle. The wipers are not stuck or anything, so my first guess is that it is some kind of electrical issue.

I'm not sure if this is related, or a coincidence, but I only noticed that my wipers stopped working about a week and a half after installing an after market remote starter (autostart brand - 2 way FM system). I took the car back to the installer, but he claims that nothing he did had anything to do with wipers.

I checked any fuses that seemed related to the wipers in the engine compartment, and they all seemed to be ok.

Any suggestions? I'm in Canada, and essentially have not driven my car since finding this out, since winter time is an essential time to have functional wipers.

PLEASE HELP!!

Also, on a side note, since installing my remote starter, every time I remote start my vehicle, I get a message on my Navigation unit to service the anti-theft system. The installer said he doesn't know how to get rid of it. Any suggestions on that one too??

I had an '04 CTS with an AutoStart brand remote start that worked perfectly with no loss of wiper function and no DIC messages. Your installer made a mistake but it appears that he is not capable of correcting it. The installer you choose is as important as the brand.
