Yesterday i took my 07 CTS in for its first oil change and i got an 08 CTS4 for the day. I think that is the all wheel drive one. I didnt have Nav or heated seats but it was nice inside. Black leather and wood trim. Drove nice and the steering felt a little better then my 07. I do think they did a nice job on it but still some little cheap parts here and there. Other then that its a sweat car. I still love mine and how it drives. I would love a fully loaded 08 anytime. I didnt think i would had drive one for a long time. I hope i get one again at my next oil change :)

I was not really impressed. I had one for a month and outside of the amazing power, it did not handle worth a damn, compared to my 03. Call me crazy, but the seats were less comfortable.
Everything was still fairly tight and may have needed to break in, but it had a lot of body roll.

I definitely thought the '08 had a looser feel than my '04. Call ME crazy, but I feel like '04 base suspension is less "floaty" than the '08 base suspension. It seems like the '08s went more for "luxury" than for sport. I didn't get a chance to try FE2 or FE3, but on FE1 the 08 felt like it was flopping all over the road. It also had more oversteer. Maybe a break-in was needed.

Interesting to hear perspectives from you guys. I think actually buying an '08 would bias your judgement.
