Blackout 01-31-08, 09:19 PM I wonder if my brother's 81 Ford Fairmont would be used in the film?!?!?! It could........it would be one of the cars that gets crushed as one of the cars from the movie goes drifting into it or something I~LUV~Caddys8792 01-31-08, 09:31 PM Woo hoo! Hollywood notoriety!! :highfive: CadillacSTS2003 01-31-08, 11:53 PM oh god the only thing that show had going for it was the 70 Charger, the 69 Yenko Clone and the 70 Challenger they lost me with the Nissan powered 69 Mustang.... Spyder 02-01-08, 12:21 AM Pretty sure it wasn't a '70 Charger... ... ... Blackout 02-01-08, 12:22 AM oh god the only thing that show had going for it was the 70 Charger, the 69 Yenko Clone and the 70 Challenger they lost me with the Nissan powered 69 Mustang.... Unfortunately the RB26DETT powered Mustang probably had a lot more potential then whatever was in there to begin with. gary88 02-01-08, 12:40 AM Call me crazy, but I thought the Mustang with a Skyline powerplant wasn't half-bad. The wheels made it look bad though. BigJon 02-01-08, 12:51 AM the 4th... wasnt there only 2 Blackout 02-01-08, 12:54 AM the 4th... wasnt there only 2 There was the Fast and the Furious, then 2 Fast 2 Furious, then Fast and the Furious Tokyo Drift, and now we have the 4th one which is supposed to be out in 2009. But supposedly Vin Diesel and Paul Walker are going to be in this one. BigJon 02-01-08, 12:59 AM i forgot about tokyo drift.. they take movies way to far sometime.. CadillacSTS2003 02-01-08, 11:02 AM Pretty sure it wasn't a '70 Charger... ... ... o rly? looks like one to me http://queauto.files.wordpress.com/2007/02/fast_and_furious_dodge_charger.jpg http://www.famouscars.de/images/fast-and-the-furious/tfatf-70charger-how01.jpg http://www.the-reel-mccoy.com/movies/2001/images/FastFurious1.jpg CadillacSTS2003 02-01-08, 11:04 AM I havent even seen the 3rd swore the series off after i herd about the Mustang.... if theres some muscle in the 4th ill probably go see it... Blackout 02-01-08, 12:13 PM I havent even seen the 3rd swore the series off after i herd about the Mustang.... if theres some muscle in the 4th ill probably go see it... I never saw the 3rd one because I swore it off, but one day I was at Circuit City picking up a couple movies on HD DVD and while I was waiting in line they had the 3rd one playing on a HDTV and it looked so damn nice that I went and grabbed it. When I finally watched it it wasn't half bad. I mean it had the usual crap that isn't even remotely possible, but I mostly wanted to see it because of the cars. The car I loved the most was the one off bodykit that Veilside made for a Mazda RX-7. By looking at it you wouldn't know that the car is even an RX-7 http://www.2dayblog.com/images/veilside_rx7.jpg CadillacSTS2003 02-01-08, 12:23 PM wtf is with the square cut outs on the back!??! imho rice is rice it is never nice no matter what the price I~LUV~Caddys8792 02-01-08, 01:34 PM o rly? looks like one to me http://queauto.files.wordpress.com/2007/02/fast_and_furious_dodge_charger.jpg http://www.famouscars.de/images/fast-and-the-furious/tfatf-70charger-how01.jpg http://www.the-reel-mccoy.com/movies/2001/images/FastFurious1.jpg Thank you for posting those Jason. 1970, IMO, was the best year for the Charger. You get the '68's grille, but with a full chrome surround, and the '69's taillights. I didn't like the grille on the '69, and the taillights on the '68s I didn't ever like as much as the '69-70's http://www.chargerspecialties.com/jpfe9212.jpg That is just pure sex. NOT ON MY WATCH 02-01-08, 01:35 PM wtf is with the square cut outs on the back!??! 20 lb bag of rice fits in each one. Bungee cord and you're done. I~LUV~Caddys8792 02-01-08, 01:49 PM It adds traction in the winter. CadillacSTS2003 02-01-08, 08:32 PM that Charger was just bad ass period "900 (i think was the line) of pure Detroit muscle" Crown Vic Owner 02-02-08, 12:56 AM 900 ftlbs i believe was stated Actually, the ACTUAL supra used in the 1st movie was electric AFAIK. FnF has such a following, the producers would be fools NOT to make the movie. | |
