I have a 97 Deville when i unlock the door with the key from the driver side my alarm goes off so i have to go around to the passenger side and stick the key in and turn it for the alarm to stop going off this is a factory alarm does anyone have a remedy for this problem?

do you have an aftermarket radio...?

No aftermarket radio just the factory

try putting the key in the door turning it both ways then back to center then remove

if problem continues i can walk you through deactivating the system...
