Hello,
We are proud to announce that we will be putting together an event for ALL Cadillac Owners at California Speedway on June 14th, 2008. Vehicle attendance is free for all of those that wish to attend. If you would like to take your vehicle onto the racetrack there would be a track registration fee.

There will be a couple of SPECIAL guests and cars at this event!!! More details to come.

Good luck on that. I've tried and tried and tried to do something around here and have been totally unsuccessful on several accounts.

I gave up and started looking for local clubs, not that that's any better but at least if something already exists I know they'll show up.

If you're serious about putting something together, gather some info and post it in the Local Chapters / Northeast forum .

I for one will support you 100% even if it's to far for me to make.

We have a gathering place up near Albany where they do a more serious meet a few times a year. It's a BBQ / ice cream joint. They do like a little show sort of thing with small awards. I'd love to show up there with 5 or 10 Cadillac guys. Problem is that's a world away for most of you.

Planning meets is a pain in the ass. A LOT of people will back out who initially said they were in, people dont see the threads, people ignore the threads, people are unwilling to drive just a couple of hours, etc etc.

This event sounds sweet D3. I will drive up to 6 hours for a meet but not 24 to get to LA.

Honestly I think my limit is about 2 hrs. Unless it's a full out show. But for a meet it's about 2 hrs. But you're right, people talk, then back out, then we always have the weather to contend with.

Albany, Ny isnt all that far its about 8-10 hr drive make a weekend out of it... maybe during the summer or something..
