Has anyone done a simple sub and amp install on an '06 CTS? It has the stock radio, no navigation.

Anything special needed? Where is the line out converter usually installed?

I know about that, I'm just curious as to where it goes installed in this application.

I have a Lexus IS and it comes stock with a pioneer amp. I used a 2-channel SoundGate LOC and tapped it into the harness that goes to the amp. I tapped into the stock subwoofer wires.

I'm not too familiar with the CTS so excuse my ignorance. But where exactly would I access it? From the trunk? From behind the radio?
