i saw that someone made a mount kit from a single din kit. it looked nice. although it sounds easy to do that to the kit. messing the kit up would set me back a few days because i had to special order the kit from scosche. i wonder why noone makes a double din kit for the last gen deville?

How much is a system for a 2001 Seville with the factory Bose system?

the system i sell?
it all depends on how much i can locate the radio for...
on top of the radio cost it costs 100 bucks in modified harnesses, and building the aux in for the radio
50 bucks to ship
you get the idea
the systems go for 300-500 bucks without my mods and they WILL NOT work as a simple plug and play system as they are, if you do that you will blow your illum fuse constantly and the nav will not function properly

ive sold 2 so far one for 600 the other for 650

i really dont make any profit on them, i do it as a favor to the forum

Sounds interesting. I take it that you will re-program the unit with my cars VIN to unlock the Theft-LOC system. Let me know when the next time you find a unit. I have the Bose sound system in my 2001 Seville.

Thanks!

cant reprogram it
that i could only do with 3,000 dollar piece of equipment known as a Tech II
dealer will do this with instructions i provide for 40 bucks

as yours is also an 01 youll have to replace your disc changer with a 02+ unit and add two purple data class II wires to the changer plug to keep the disc changer
