Trouble is that it is located in California. Transport costs will put it off the expense account budget.
California cars should be in better condition than East coast cars, but the cost of getting them here makes the cost prohibitive. Florida cars allow you to at least a less costly means of checking them out, as air fare to Fla. is relatively inexpensive in comparasion.

Saw that earlier tonight.. trust me, buying from Cali is worth the 1k in shipping. My Phaeton came from Beverly Hills, and it has the cleanest chassis I've ever seen on an (actually driven) 29 year old car.

That black one is a beaut.

It's beautiful and cheap so far. I agree that car would be worht the $1K to ship it.

So I am the guy that bought this car. It needs some engine work and minor cosmetics. Joined here for information. The threads are a great source of information. This will be an on going project but the car is beautiful.

Well, Congradulations.
You haven't filled out a profile. Where is Triple Black's new home?
Really, I'm quite envious. I just lost a bid on a Red / White / Red 1977 Coupe which was quite nice.

The new home is in Vegas. It go's in for the engine work Monday. Fixed the trunk pull down today, tomorrow the electric antenna. I did have it shipped, It looks like they rebuilt the tranny and the kid driving it put to much new tranny torque on the older motor.
