Fondest memories:

3. toaster at end of cord meets brick wall

My fondest memories were destroying a PS2 and putting a quarter stick of dynamite in a stereo receiver.

Great Grandpa's 12-pound railroad sledge and a very very dead HP LaserJet 4si.. the one the size of a Volkswagen and twice as tough. Two whole days of destructive fun!

Led Zeppelin had a nasty reputation for trashing hotel rooms. There was one particular example back in Seattle in 1971, where they threw a big screen (for the day) Sony TV out of their hotel room balcony and onto a '67 Lincoln Continental below.

Hate to be the hotel manager paying for a new Lincoln!

I heard about Led Zeppelin fishing out of a hotel room and a groupie, but thats a TOTALLY different thread.

I think the story behind that was the owner of the Lincoln came up to their room to complain about the noise, and well, you can guess where it went from there.....

IDK, people can be real vultures when it comes to celebrities. Did you hear about what happened to Brittany Spears a while ago? She got out of her car and dinged a door of another car. Well the other car's owners sued and got THREE GRAND for a door ding! I think there was some emotional trauma...hahahaha

So are you saying it wouldn't bother you at all if some rich, bald crack whore put a dent in your caddy?

Heck yeah I'd be pissed! I'd want MAJOR compensation not only for the damage, but also the trouble I'm gonna have to go through to fix it including extra gas/time/rental/anger, and the value the car loses when the original paint is screwed with (plus interest because value changes), AND the trophies I'll miss out on because it can't win shows with a dent and can't be in them while in the shop.

Yeah that's what I'd do! No Ben, I meant the guy in the Lincoln example SHOULD NOT have backed down (if he did).

I'm not saying I'd win/lose shows anyway, but what if....

Cheers!
