Greetings All;
I have a base 03 Deville w/o Bose. I play my ipod through a cassette adapter. I can't use the fm transmitters as there are too many stations in my area and I can never hold an open station. When working properly the ipod sounds fantastic.
Here's my problem. Lately, the cassette player will change sides (1 to 2 or a to b, whatever) which makes for an interruption in the music. Also, on occasion (I notice this happens when very cold) the tape will eject. This is a relatively new cassette adapter from Radio Shack (8 months?) and the car has only 27500 miles so I doubt the cassette was used alot.
Any suggestions? Are there some cassette adapters better than others? Would it help to blow compressed air into the opening? WD-40?
Thanks in advance.
