I have a CTS with the cashmere interior and I would like to dye the "inserts" black to give it a sport look. Anybody done this? Anyone do it yourself? How did it turn out? I have heard the only good way to do it is with an airbrush and i do not have the equipment to do this. Anyway, looking for pictures and.or how to's.
Thanks in advance.
I have the same color in the V and have thought about having the camel "suede" replaced with black since the doors and dash are black. i also have black Lloyds V matts. I would recommend an interior shop. I am waiting for a quote on mine.

It will be much less of a headache and a whole lot less money if you just have the pieces re upholstered.
go to leathermagic.com and match the colour/make/model/year with your car. I got some "dark montana blue" dye from them when I had to dye a shale wood/leather steering from an Eldorado that I ended up installing in my '97 Deville. It came out "aces" and wasn't difficult at all if you follow the directions to the letter. good luck!
