I have a couple of light scratches, two of them may need to be filled because you can feel it and the others you can't feel. What would be the best way to take care of em???

If you can feel the scratch with a fingernail, it's body shop time. Otherwise, go to www.autogeek.net (http://www.autogeek.net) and surf around for ideas.

Even with "light" scratches, aggressive use of a DA polisher and fast cut swirl remover will significantly reduce the clearcoat thickness. Careful.

Griots orbital buffer and Machine 3 polish. Reminds me, its about time for another polish and wax.

I practiced on my red Jeep Cherokee hood that has sun damage before moving on to the Black Raven V.

DA = dual action. Porter Cable makes one but cannot remember the model number. I am afraid the orbital you have is not going to have enough power to remove the scratches.

This is what you want and need.....

The best I have ever used and the orbital is pretty much idiot proof.

As said above Porter Cable is very easy to use, you can find them on sales at Lowes for around 100 dollars, it will last you for many years.

You can get a DA anywhere thats not really the point, you can pick whatever product you want, and everyone has their favorites. My suggestion is go to a website like autodetailingsolutions.com and pick one, try it, next time pick a different one and try it. Form your own opinion. Ill preach maguires, and others will preach their faves. There is someone on here who keeps saying autogeek.com is great, but i cant remember who, and i havent been there yet.
