Hey guys!
I'm new here, and after going through 34208 cars....I've decided finally on the SRX.
It's going to be my first car, and I can't wait!
The car is a 2004 SRX, it has 43k miles, I'm not sure of TOO many details...I know it has the Navi in it. And that it's white. And it's the 3.6l V6
My dad said that when we get it that we're taking it straight to the shop for 2 tone paint.
I was thinking bottom half gray/silver and top half white.
But I'm not sure.
Where are some good websites for parts/accessories?
(Grilles etc.)
Thanks!
P.S-The car is bought and it should be here in a week or 2. Expect pics!
Welcome...you're in for a great treat!
Chip did a two tone that really was, in my opinion, one of his lesser works.

Yea that one isn't all my style....I was thinking of white and red.....but I photoshopped it and accidently made the bottom half black/gray/charcoal ish type. And it looked GOOD.
I want something kinda subtle.
BUT I LOVE that body kit. Did He make that or get it custom made or buy it somewhere because that is beautiful!

Thanks!!
My dad works on cars so I'm going to have lots of custom work done to it.
When It comes (POSSIBLY TODAYY!!!$U@#$) I'll post tons of pictures =]]]

Chip is a renowned custom builder that's featured on cable channels from time to time so the body work is "one of a kind" creation.
If you're in a wet climate you might keep in mind that dirt shows up most on dark colors so a dark lower body will keep you busy detailing.
But remembering my first car decades ago it got washed twice a day and waxed every other day anyway!
I'd suggest that if you plan on doing some work on the SRX you buy the factory shop manuals (set of three) as there are some "booby trap" kind of things in the electronics. Like if you remove a seat the air bags could explode....not a easy or cheap thing to fix.
Plus, you can see how it's built without dismantling it.
YOU'RE GOING TO BE THE HAPPIEST GUY/GIRL ON THE PLANET ! ! ! !

I'm a guy!
and thank you!
I really like chip foose's stuff.
My dad is really good at doing custom work on cars.
And thats a really good point about the lower have being darker.
I'll definitely consider....what do you think would look good?
(give me some Ideas and I'll throw down some photoshops)
Geeze.........my first car was Vega, followed by a Chevette...............sigh.......................

Try different metallic colors for the upper (golden copper) leaving white bottom with 20" gold wheels.
