I am the second owner of a 1989 Sedan DeVille with 109,000 miles on it. It is in excellent running and body condition but I recently discovered a problem with the battery holding power overnight. It is at the shop right now for repairs. I have a chance to purchase a 1996 Sedan deVille with the infamous Northstar with 111,000 miles. This car is a one owner car abd always garaged kept and it is in showroom condition. I can get it for 2,900.00 and possibly trade in my 1989 for 1,000.00 towards it. Do I gamble with the Northstar, or keep what I have and wait untill a deal comes for a 1999 or newer car?
