Hey Rolex nice ride. I have always loved the Titans. EFlive has a great program for them.

Good luck with it.

Nice! I especially like that shade of red. I don't remember the PRO-4X package from when I worked there...is that a dealer add-on or is that an option that's fairly new?

Pretty fast eh?

Love what Nissan has done with the interior. Really nice upgrade from the original. Never seen that package before. :)

Sweet. I'm thinking I may lean that way come April when my insurance drops after my last stupid ticket three years ago.

Expecting a full report on it in the next week or three!

Looks really great. I like how they got rid of the ugly chrome grille up front.

Pro 4X is a trim level like SE or LE. The 4X is akin to the Z71 package offered by GM. It has a solid rear Dana axle, locking diff, skid plates, rancho shocks, different gears, etc. This particular truck was sent to the dealer to place in an auto show a few weeks back. Rolex likey. :eyebrow:

The Pro 4X doesn't have any chrome pieces, it's all color matched. :cool2:

LOL.
I've driven a Nissan pickup; the little graphic 4x4 indicator kept making me think the wheels weren't centered. I suppose you get used to it after a while but it threw me. Color's nice; pickups should have sticks. I'm a sucker for six-packs (or I guess this would be a five-pack?) but I prefer a long bed; but hey, I worked at a "regional truck center" and even there in a massive inventory it was almost impossible to get a well-appointed truck that didn't compromise its usability as well (the center console is the most egregious offender in this regard) so I guess you takes what you gets, and what you gots looks pretty sweet, all things considered.

Looks good, nice price, because I'd be reluctant to buy a Titan without a good discount.

The $48,000 MSRP is shocking though....that's insane for a 1/2 ton. Hell, my boss's Z71 Avalance, even with the GM accessory DVD player and LTZ wheels was $45,000.

Wow that is pricey, I Missed that, My Buddies four dour Denali AWD with 403HP and 417 FT/lbs of torque and 14.48 1/4 miles cost him 43,000 out the door with every option you can get in that thing. MSRP was 44,500.
That isn't to say the Nissan isn't a nice truck but I don't think it is on the Level of the 6.2 Denali.

Hey Rolex -- didn't you say you were going to get your friend's employee discount included in that? How much of the $10K off of sticker did that account for?

Hey Rolex -- didn't you say you were going to get your friend's employee discount included in that? How much of the $10K off of sticker did that account for?

I didn't bother to ask. He offered my 2 buy options. first was 10k off, and second was 12k off. I took the 10k and here's why:

The truck itself was $44,770. There were several dealer add-ons to increase the cost over sticker price. I don't believe I was actually charged for the almost $4k in add-ons which accounts for some of the reduction in cost.

Nissan has a $5k discount, or $2.5k discount with 3.9% finance for 60 mo. I took the latter and elected to finance with Nissan.

That's the best I could figure about how they discounted 10k. If I had financed with my own bank I would've gotten 12k off the price because I would have taken the $5000 rebate. I took the $2500 with 3.9% though. My bank quoted me .25 below the prime rate for financing, but when I figured out the $$$ amount over the life of the loan I came out cheaper financing with Nissan.

At the end of the day I got what I want for a damn fair price. :D
