Just as a comparison, I bought my 2000 with similar milage off a local used car lot, a month ago, for $4000 out the door (tax, title, plates included), and mine is a car with no issues (except for having only one key).

I would STAY away from it. Just ran a CarFax report on. It 's been sold 5 different times at an auto auction in the Desert Southwest Region.
8/09/07, 9/13/07, 11/05/07, 11/29/07, and 12/06/07. I presume each time it was won, the buyer didn't want to deal with the problems.

My suggestion is to buy it as a parts car if anything. As a loyal Catera owner, don't want to see someone get into a Lemon of a Catera.

id only buy a car off ebay if it was a project car or a parts car.

I wouldnt pay more than 600-800 bucks.

Sounds more like it got passed on from dealer to dealer. Still, it could mean it was a POS that was unwanted or couldn't sell for some reason.

well id say he might be able to get $3000 out of it.
prob coulda got $3500 or $4000 if it has all the options and everything worked fine but he says its got electrical problems and whatnot.
so yea...prob 2 or 3 g's.
