2004 Cadillac Escalade

My Escalade, whenever I blow the horn, it sounds puny. It sounds like a cheap Japanese car's horn. Like a little toot. It doesn't have the same sound as my STS, or any other Cadillac i've owned. Even my 1999 Escalade had a normal sounding one. So, what is wrong? Is the speaker busted? I can make a sound clip if necessary. Thanks so much!

Forget if these have two horns or one, you may have the wire off one if that is the case, my 03' and 07's are pretty loud and sounds like my other GM cars. :)

You should have two horns, sounds like one of them might be not working and the other one might be weak.
Have someone check them.

Advice above sounds correct to me. For kicks though, I would still like to hear a puny little horn coming out of a beasty SUV! I am easily entertained......

I thought the same on mine. Thats why i put these on. They are insanely loud and I'll probably be put in jail sometime soon - but it will be worth it. People jump, scream, curse and more ;) I have it wired into my wheel horn button...but I have them wired to only work when i have the fog lamps on...then hit the horn.

The last 3 vehicles I've owned, including my Escalade, I've added 134 dB Fiamm air horns. JCWhitney has them and O'Reiley Autoparts carries them for $27. I can do them for $35 installed in about an hour. People cannot ignore these horns.

For their cost I didn't expect much from them, but have been pleasantly surprised. They lasted very well for the 3.5 years I drove my Lade, and had no issues. Here's a link to the horns I ordered, though this last set was bought at the local auto parts store.
