I like the looks of the CTS better than the V myself....
| View Full Version : cts vs V Jonas Bognar 01-10-08, 07:37 PM I like the looks of the CTS better than the V myself.... dqw1 01-10-08, 07:48 PM ...and the point is? onebadcad 01-10-08, 08:07 PM While some may think looks are important, most enthusiasts will not be swayed unless there is a picnic bench on the trunk or something utterly ugly; it plays into the equation but does not rule it. The '09 V will sell due to 1) performance-550/550 2) the Cadillac name-'nuff said 3) the V-series heritage-not a long one, but it sounds good 4) value and preference over E63, M5 and RS4-why overpay for Ubermetal My '05 looks good, not perfect, I bought it because the test drive told me it was the 'perfect' car for me. CIWS 01-10-08, 09:09 PM I like the looks of the CTS better than the V myself.... Great, buy a CTS and not a V :) RightTurn 01-10-08, 09:11 PM :yeah: thebigjimsho 01-10-08, 09:23 PM Thanks Boogar! CVP33 01-10-08, 11:44 PM I'm going to buy a base 2008 CTS and do a motor swap. The worst part is I really like the SRX's interior. So I'll be using an SRX as a donor just for the interior. Except the seats. I've always loved the side swivel seats in the 1976 Monte Carlo, so those will be going in. Now for the wheels, I like the new 20"s on the new Escalade, so I'll be swapping hubs to accomodate the new wheels. All together with donor vehicles, parts and labor I should be able to get this done for $150,000. It was either that or a Porsche GT3. I wanted to stay with something American made. But I agree, the new CTS-V looks like ass. :sneaky: P-Funk 01-11-08, 11:56 AM I'm going to buy a base 2008 CTS and do a motor swap. The worst part is I really like the SRX's interior. Why so small? :hmm: the cadillac kid 01-11-08, 03:24 PM looks like the stock CTS grille & the V grille will not be interchangeable... however the entire rear looks to be identical the hood, front bumper, & rocker panels seem to be the only major differences between the V & cts --exterior-wise RightTurn 01-12-08, 03:09 AM looks like the stock CTS grille & the V grille will not be interchangeable... Good. The posers won't be able to pose. No embz-jacking. :alchi: the cadillac kid 01-12-08, 11:18 PM http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/08-CADILLAC-CTS-2PC-MESH-GRILLE-GRILL-CADY-2008-E-G_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33645QQihZ013QQitemZ2 30210605380QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW theyll try... then again, i think myself & tommy compton are the only ones that have spent over 500 for a CTS grille... CIWS 01-13-08, 10:26 AM Good. The posers won't be able to pose. No embz-jacking. :alchi: :yeah: Definitely looks like it would take some major changes if at all possible. Koooop 01-14-08, 12:38 AM I like the looks of the CTS better than the V myself.... Go ride your ****ing moped you jack off. Oops! I mean you should probably get a CTS instead of the 550HP monster and scoot around in a chick car with a V6 you idiot... Oops! I mean isn't a V 6 for your wife's car? Oops! You are so right, the new 550HP CTS-V looks like azz. | |
