View Full Version : how to search forums..and cpk sensor question (2000 cadillac stalling)

First off, I know there's already an article that goes into detail about the N* stalling for years 2000-2003. I'm trying to look for the article which shows where the CPK sensors are located. And also the proper GM part numbers for them.
My 2000 cadillac randomly shuts off while slowing down or near stop. I've tried doing oil, air filter, and fuel filter. Then finally found the article about the crank sensors. But now I can't find it. How do i search for articles on this forum? I remember it was under the tools, but not anymore.

In this (N* Performance) forum, maybe 2,3,4,5 pages back are several threads with the "CKP" acronym in the title. I'm not sure just which threads, but 5 minutes of snooping the pages will get you enough info on the sensors to write a book. Matter of fact, CKP has been a hot topic for at least a couple of years, so no one has all the locations memorized. Sometimes it's just easier to drill through the pages. If I find anything, I'll post it, too.
OK, got sidetracked in another thread. In N* Performance look at pp. 13,9,5,4. In Technical, Tips look at p.1 (The biggie CKP post).
(That was easy......!)
